A little bit about little old me

Professional content writer by day, creative writer by… well, every other time. I’m a storyteller and lover of words, both the serious and the silly. I’m endlessly curious about the unique intricacies that make us all human: the messy, beautiful, complicated parts that shape our stories and our souls.

With over four years of professional writing experience and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies, I bring both expertise and heart to my work. My goal is to combine my passion for writing with my dedication to mental health — creating content that supports and makes a meaningful difference.

Over time, I noticed a gap that I wanted to do something about. Many mental health professionals wanted to keep their content current and meaningful, but weren’t necessarily aiming to climb the SEO ladder in a way that didn’t feel like them. They wanted something in between: content that felt fresh, relevant, and human, without sacrificing their voice or burning hours they didn’t have.

That’s where TheraSource was born — as an affordable middle ground between high-pressure marketing tactics and doing nothing at all. It’s content that keeps your practice visible and current, so you can connect with the people who need you most: your clients.

When I’m not writing, you might find me exploring new music at a concert, sitting in the sunshine, finding a local coffee shop to support, lost in a good book, or at your local Waffle House.

I believe stories have the power to heal, connect, and transform — and I bring that belief to every word I write. My writing can range from scholarly to Lorelai Gilmore — informational, delightfully human, or any level of in between. If you’re looking for content that educates and entertains (with a wink of wit), you’re in the right place.

I’d love the chance to connect and see if we’re a good fit to create content that supports your clients and helps your business grow. Please don’t be shy — I would genuinely love to hear from you!
